Dear students, welcome to your English language lesson as a university student.
This subject carries the responsibilities of checking your English background and ensures you learn from different approaches implemented in Distance Education. For the achievement of the aforementioned goals, the subject handbook is divided into two main parts: Language Input (Grammar, Vocabulary and Everyday English) and Skills Development (Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing). It’s true, however, that the speaking and listening skills will not be easily developed if students do not engage in collective/group discussions with English speakers at their workplace and/or living area. Therefore, students are highly recommended to actively participate in every section and learn from others, as well as acting like a role model in terms of performance and result-oriented approach (student-centredness). Non-adherence to these instructions may result in a fail. So work hard!
